She is now the "go-to" dog for new volunteers to practice with and is a total pro at adoption events with people of all ages.<br/><br/><br/>​Why We Love Monica:<br/>​The Ultimate Socialite: Monica puts every dog she meets at ease. Her signature move? Swinging her backside toward new friends for a sniff, showing them immediate, full trust.<br/><br/>​Active & Athletic: This Husky mix is high-energy and lives for long walks. She even has some "parkour" moves she likes to show off during playdates!<br/>​Fetch Champion: She's so smart she actually anticipates where you'll throw the toy and tries to outrun it.<br/><br/>​Quiet Companion: Despite her zest for life, Monica is surprisingly quiet and doesn't bark.<br/><br/>​Stunning Looks: She'll stop you in your tracks with her striking one blue eye and one hazel eye.<br/><br/>​Her Quirky Side<br/>​Monica is so excited to get out into the world that she sometimes tries to "help" you put her harness on by jumping right into it! On walks, her curious nature takes over; she's a professional sniffer and loves finding little "treasures" to carry in her mouth.<br/><br/>​Volunteer Note: Monica has officially "done her time" at the shelter.
