While she is absolutely adorable, and many times people just want to give her super pets and super hugs, she has shown that she likes to meet folks on her terms, likes a little space, and then, she will happily open up, and she even will offer her belly for rubs. There are times that this gal can be a little nippy when overexcited so learning to keep calm, and helping her engage in positive behaviors is just what she needs. Just because dogs are smaller, doesn’t mean they also don’t need good manners and training to help them become the best do they can be! There are times that she can become startled by certain actions so making sure she is approached correctly so she can see you makes her feel safe and comfortable. We are all about setting our dogs up for success from what we learn about them while they temporarily reside at the shelter. <br/><br/>She does love treats, will engage in fun time, and looks forward to bonding with her person who will give her what she needs to succeed. <br/><br/>This lady did well in the play yard meeting some canine friends and appears to prefer to play with boys. Have dogs at home? Bring them by for a meet! Meet and greets with resident dogs are always required. <br/><br/>Come by and meet this girl… she may be the one to steal your heart.
