She was limping and in obvious pain, a pure case of abuse and neglect. But Mona’s spirit never gave up.<br/><br/>Since arriving, Mona has blossomed with love and care. She’s gained over 30 pounds, had her painful mass removed, and even enjoyed her very first beach walk this week! Through it all, Mona has shown nothing but gratitude for her second chance at life.<br/><br/>Personality: <br/>Mona is a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely deserves to spend her golden years as the center of someone’s world. She’s loving, gentle, and so grateful to be safe. Mona is good with other dogs, especially those who are calm and submissive.
