MEET MOMO! STATS: 2 years old, neutered, Staffy Mix, 75 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a playful big boy with so much love to give! I love people, dogs, walkies, playing, running, and naps. You know how elephants are massive but also super sweet and loving? Its me. I'm an elephant. Biggest noggin you’ve ever seen, sweetest heart you’ve ever met. I do have a lot of energy, so you will have to be prepared for me to do some chonky boy zoomies around you when we play! WHAT I LOVE: I love to play, hang out with my dog friends, and get loved on by my people. I am such a big softie with the squishiest face – and I want that face to be on your knee looking deeply into your eyes! I am just a lovebug! I really love to run around with the other dogs, play fight and bounce off each other, and when I'm good and tired I crash HARD! KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my size and energy level might be a lot for young kids that I could accidentally knock over. I would likely love them, just maybe a little too much! I would be best with older teens that can handle my size and playfulness! OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! I am also an official York County Dog Test Dog! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I am a sweet smushy cuddle bug and I don’t know my size (sorry...) so I would be the perfect match for someone who wants a playful, active, loving dog but can handle my size and strength. I just want someone who will snuggle me, play with me, and give me the exercise that I love and need! Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
