What is Lawrence County Humane Society’s adoption process?

Are you interested in adopting one of our furry friends?  Our adoption fee is $78 for cats (this includes spay/neuter, rabies, and microchip) and $98 for dogs (this includes spay/neuter, rabies, and microchip).  Potential adopters should make an appointment to visit the shelter and get to know the dog/cat you are interested in.....and remember all family members in the household need to approve of adopting a pet. All adopted pets that are not already altered must be spayed/neutered within 30 days of adoption (age permitting).  We strongly prefer that other pets in the home be altered as well.
