Molly's Story

This is darling Molly, she is a staffie terrier mix, she is 4.5 years old. She is utd on her vaccinations and is spayed She is exceptional with people and does ok with cats, if introduced properly. She’s very smart and well behaved off leash. She is also an epic snuggle bug. Molly came to our small animal rescue in SW Colorado at about two years old as a stray and, because she has occasionally been dog aggressive, spent almost a year with us, including 3 months at a home with a local trainer. Upon her return from the trainer, she was adopted by a lovely older couple. Molly spent almost a year with them and thrived. She had a big yard to play in, a few cat friends and got out on a few long walks every week. Her story turns very unfortunate in that by year's end, the 2 folks who had been Molly‘s family passed. It was devastating for our community as they were beloved in our town and obviously devastating for Molly as well. She came back to the shelter and has now been with us for 8 months or so. Molly is dog selective. She does have doggy friends, and loves to play and run with those doggy friends, introductions just have to be made carefully. She is a bit of a resource guarder particularly with the people she loves. If you think your home might be a good fit for our girl, please check get i touch for a meet ad greet! We know there is a good home out there for our sweetie, she is very dear to our hearts.
