Molly Dee's Story

Molly Dee is a 55lb, 3-year-old Border Collie mix who has already shown us just how resilient and forgiving a dog can be.

Molly came to Stop the Suffering after being seriously injured in an attack by another dog in her previous home. The attack left her with a torn deltoid muscle, requiring extensive veterinary care and a lengthy period of crate rest while she healed. Through it all, Molly has remained sweet, loving, and eager to move forward.

We're happy to report that Molly has been recovering beautifully, and her crate rest restrictions have officially been lifted! She is excited to get back to being a dog and enjoys having the freedom to stretch her legs and explore the world around her.

As a Border Collie mix, Molly is an intelligent and active girl who thrives when she has an outlet for both her physical and mental energy. She is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other canine companions. Molly does struggle with separation anxiety, which isn't uncommon for a dog who has experienced significant stress and change. We are hopeful that now that she can be active again, regular exercise, enrichment, and a consistent routine will help her channel some of that Border Collie energy in positive ways.

Molly is looking for a patient and understanding family willing to help her continue building confidence as she settles into her new life. In return, she'll reward you with loyalty, affection, and the joy that comes from watching a resilient dog truly thrive.

If you're looking for a smart, loving companion who is ready for her second chance, Molly Dee may be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption fee is $375.00 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.
