Molly's Story

Meet Molly!

Molly came to us after being hit by a car. She was a mess! Molly had a fractured pelvis and femur. She had FHO surgery. FHO is where they remove the head of the femur and put it in the muscle.

Molly has done great during her recovery. She isn't using the leg much but that is normal. It can take months before they use it regularly. Molly walks on a leash. She get nervous in new situations. We are working on that with more socialization and outings. She has been around the foster nieces children and did well. She is ok around other dogs but will let them know she isn't interested in playing. She may do best as an only dog.

Molly is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX tested.

Paw Posse Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters fill out an application. If we feel based off the application that they may be a good fit we do a phone interview. If that goes well we do a meet and greet. If there are other dogs involved they are included in the meet and greet. If that goes well we move to the home inspection. If they pass we can process the application. Sometimes dogs don't mesh the first time meeting. We will set up additional meet and greets for the dogs. There may be things in their home that we ask them to change (storage box by a fence, lock on the gate, barrier at the front door). Once we verify these items repaired/in place we will approve the application. We follow up with our adopters regularly. We ask for updated photos and help with any concerns they may be having.
