Molly is looking for a loving family. She is an active and energetic girl who is working on proper training. She walks pretty well on a leash, but she definitely doesn't like having a leash around her neck. She would jump a lot, but staff is working with her, and she is getting better. She does settle down once she gets going. Molly looks like she may have a little Bull Terrier in her, but she has not been DNA tested. That is just a guess. Someone who knows her past said she was good with their kids, but she hasn't been tested here. She is getting very frustrated being at the shelter so long. She needs a hero. The Humane Society of Clinton County, Indiana's Adoption Policy
We require a "foster to adopt" program for all adopters, whether it be that the pet that you are interested in still has some medical work up to be done or whether we just want to give the pet time to adjust. An application is required to be filled out at the time of adoption. No appointment required to visit the animals during open hours. Upon finalizing adoption, each pet is current on vaccinations, altered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV test and/or heartworm tested. All animals over 7 years of age will have bloodwork performed at the vet. All known medical issues will be taken care of at the vet prior to finalizing adoption (dental cleanings, hernia repairs, mass removals, etc.).
