Molly's Story
OCT. 6 UPDATE FROM MOLLY'S FOSTER PARENT:

Molly is quiet and gentle. The foster loves her! Says she has the perfect temperament. This medium sized KY country girl is a little timid about new things, especially sudden loud noises. But she learns fast. She arrived totally housebroken. Her mom takes her out periodically. She actually loves being inside, but she is a great walker; she walks right by your side. She does not pull on the leash. She does like to sniff. She does not engage with the house cat and she is fine with the resident dog. She loves just to be chill by the side of her foster mom. As the foster mom works at home, she just exudes a calm and peaceful presence. She doesn't bark, cry, or demand attention--she is just very easy to live with. She woke this morning doing a little yoga and wagging her tail. She is a little shy so young children are not a match, but adults would be great company. She is a mush. The family match would be in tune with her needs to learn about things slowly.

========================================================

Molly is an elegant girl. Gentle Molly is a medium sized 41 lb. treeing walker coonhound with beautiful markings. She is very sweet but timid and a little shy. Her estimated age is 2 to 3 years old. According to the shelter she would be best with a gentle and patient family who would be patient with her timidity and shyness. She has not seen a lot of the world or a lot of people so she would need a lot of time to decompress and learn about new things. She is very smart. The shelter thinks that she would enjoy walks but would also be a very good couch potato. Molly probably would not be suited for an active home with young kids and/or a lot of commotion. But, great with a quiet family. Molly is up to date on all her shots and spayed.
