Molly's Story

Meet Molly, a sweet girl with a gentle heart who's looking for a fresh start. Molly was found as a stray, and although she was understandably nervous at first, she chose to follow a kind Good Samaritan who stopped to help her - a sign that she wants to trust and connect with people.

Since arriving with us, Molly has been social and affectionate with staff, often seeking comfort and leaning into pets for reassurance. She enjoys attention and has shown a soft, loving side despite all the recent changes in her life.

Like many dogs in the shelter, Molly is stressed in the kennel environment. Shelters can be overwhelming, loud, and confusing, especially for a dog adjusting to so much uncertainty. Outside of the kennel, Molly's sweet personality shines through much more clearly.

If you're searching for a loyal companion who just needs a chance, come meet Molly and see if she's the missing piece in your family.

My Boroughbreaker writes: Molly was such a joy. She was nervous at first yet quickly warmed up. While driving in the car she looked like she was taking it all in. When she was inside our home, she had the zoomies and I could tell she was feeling so comfortable and happy. To help with her energy, we released her in our closed in yard and played fetch with her tennis balls. She was such a pleasure and I'm still thinking about all her kisses and hugs. Literally the sweetest girl. My husband and I took her out for the day and my parents got to play with her in the yard. She was so warm and friendly to 4 adults - we loved our time with her.
