Molly's Story

From a neglectful home to the local animal shelter, Magnificent Molly was pulled 24 hours before euthanasia.

Now 4 years old, vaccinated, and spayed, Molly has a happy and playful disposition. This clever and oh-so-loving gal is eager to learn, the perfect houseguest who rides well in the car and has never had an accident. She loves off-leash walks but is happy to just chill the rest of the time. She knows sit, stay, come, and “hug” and accepts all-day belly rubs. Her favorite toy is a giant stuffed chicken.

She is the best combination of shepherd and pittie. Loyal and focused, playful, goofy, and the greatest snuggler.

Molly needs an owner as special as she is. A lack of training early on and growing shelter syndrome led her to bite a volunteer. (It should be noted that none of the other shelter staff/volunteers had any problems with her.) She can be wary of some strangers but warms quickly to most. She is not the biggest fan of other dogs, but her foster mom is working with her on that.

She would do best with an experienced owner, in a home without kids, and (provisionally) without other dogs. Someone willing to give her the time she needs to decompress and slowly expand her boundaries will be rewarded with an absolutely amazing companion.

Molly is adoptable nationwide.

Pawsitive Endings Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process entails a home visit, reference check, and meet & greet. This process can take anywhere from one to six weeks. Please be patient during this time and understand that these measures are in place to ensure that both you and the dog are the best match for each other. We vaccinate, vet check, and spay/neuter (whenever possible) every dog prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age and breed; it goes directly towards (but by no means covers) the cost of caring for the animal, both medically and otherwise. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit our website for an adoption application.

Our Mission
Pawsitive Endings was founded in 2007 when the need for a dog rescue in western Nebraska became apparent. Many highly adoptable dogs and puppies were being euthanized simply because of lack of space in area shelters.
