Molly's Story

Molly is a sweet senior beagle (13) with a happy heart, a love of people, and a nose that never quits. This charming girl is a retired hunting dog who spent her early life in a barn, and she's now discovering the joys of home life one paw step at a time. She is calm and quiet indoors, except when its mealtime, when she happily does a little dance for her supper.

Molly is still polishing her house-training skills, but she's making great progress, does well overnight, and usually stays accident-free when let out every few hours. She knows her name and come, walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and is perfectly content being left alone uncrated, even overnight.

This lovable girl adores people and likes to stay close, often following her favorite humans around like a little shadow before settling into a cozy spot nearby. She loves affection of all kinds, especially ear scratches, butt scratches, and belly rubs, and would be happiest in a home where she can soak up plenty of companionship.

Molly is wonderful with dogs, both big and small, and greets new canine friends with curiosity and a gentle tail wag. She's also good with cats and respectful around them, and she's gentle with kids too. Because she is a beagle with a very determined nose, Molly will need a securely fenced yard to help keep her safe while she explores.

Molly has just had a full dental with extractions, all of her shots, is 4DX negative and is on prevention. She is being fostered outside of Alliston.

An application form is the first step and can be found here:

https://udrcanada.ca/dog-adoption-application/

If you're looking for a cheerful, affectionate companion with a goofy beagle personality and a heart full of love, Molly may be your perfect match

Underdog Railroad Canada's Adoption Policy
Our adoption fees vary depending on the expenses associated with that particular animal. We operate on a cost-recovery basis. Please contact us to confirm adoption fee if it is not posted. No animals are offered for free. All animals are adopted spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Those under 6 months of age are adopted under a spay and neuter contract and it is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure this is completed. Adoption contracts must be signed upon adoption and state that the animal is returned to UDR if circumstances ever change and the adopter can no longer care for the pet. Our process includes a completed application, a meet and greet with the animal and a home check upon adoption. Submitting an application for review does not guarantee an adoption will take place.
