Molly's Story
"Good golly Miss Molly" She just wants to be the only dog in your eyes.

Note from foster mom;

Molly is a Rat Terrier, 5 years old, and spayed. She is 13 pounds with a slender build.

Molly is usually a happy, fun-loving, energetic dog. She loves cloth squeeky toys; rarely destroying them. With her slender build she can run very fast, and leap very far. She respects a gate; does not try to push it or leap over it.

Molly does tend to be a bully with my other dog. He is 12 years old and laid back, no aggression in him at all. She has dominant posture around him and pesters him a lot.

Molly needs a home with no other pets, and no small kids. She bonds well with a person but does not want to share that person at all.

I have a large, fenced yard and don’t walk her, she doesn’t stay on one side when on a leash. She does not like going into a kennel. She prefers to be out in the open rather than a confined, safe place.

Note from rescue; sometimes a crate and confined space is just what they need to gain some confidence. Not a wire crate, the plastic molded type. For more information on Molly and how to adopt her, send a note to Salemdogs@aol.com and tell us about yourself, family, home, yard, fence type/height, other pets, work situation and a vet reference. Please share.
