She loves soaking up all the love and attention she can get from her human friends and seems very interested in making some canine friends, too!<br/><br/>This sweet girl has heartworms, but HSNBA is committed to starting her treatment as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the shelter is not an ideal place for a dog to undergo heartworm treatment, as they need a calm, quiet environment to recover properly. The Humane Society will cover the cost of her treatment and support her future family every step of the way!<br/><br/>If you're ready to help this leading lady trade a kennel for a couch, please reach out so we can get her started on treatment and one step closer to the happy ending she deserves!<br/><br/>- Katy, HSNBA Volunteer <br/><br/>I have tested heartworm positive. This means I have a parasite and need treatment. While my friends at HSNBA desperately want to help me, the shelter is too stressful an environment to undertake treatment and treatment itself is very expensive. The shelter has a few options to help with treatment, and if I steal your heart you should talk with them and your vet about what my treatment is like.
