Meet Mokey – Your Future Best Friend! <br/><br/>Mokey is absolutely thriving in foster care and is ready to find a family of her very own! <br/><br/> <br/><br/>This sweet girl loves playing with her foster family's adult Shepherd and has been wonderful with kids ranging from 5 to 17 years old. She hasn't been exposed to cats yet. She's social, playful, and always ready to join in on the fun. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Mokey is making great progress with potty-training and continues to improve every day. Like any puppy, she still has the occasional accident, but with consistency and patience, she's well on her way to success!<br/><br/> <br/><br/>When playtime is over, Mokey is all about the snuggles. She's affectionate, loving, and has enough personality to keep everyone entertained. In fact, she seems pretty convinced she's the one running the household! <br/><br/> <br/><br/>She's comfortable sleeping in her kennel at night and is currently working on feeling more confident when the kennel door is closed. Her next big milestone? Leash-training!<br/><br/> <br/><br/>If you're looking for a playful, loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Mokey might just be your perfect match. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>The adorable Fraggle Rock Litter popped up around Feb. 24, are from Scammon Bay, and have been bringing nonstop joy ever since! DNA test of a littermate showed 50% Akita, about 25% Labrador Retriever, and the last quarter being made up of bully breed, German Shepherd, and “super mutt”. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>ADOPT:<br/><br/>If you'd like to adopt, please take the first step by completing our Adoption Application! https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24218/generic. KPAL Rescue dogs are vetted (spayed/neutered, age-appropriately vaccinated for Distemper/Parvo, Rabies if old enough, microchipped, etc.). There will be an adoption fee of $350 + tax so that we can continue to help other animals in need. KPAL Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue based in Kenai/Soldotna, AK. Adopters should be willing to travel here to adopt as we do not allow for third party transportation. As a foster-based organization, we do not have a kennel facility you can visit.
