Hey everyone! I'm Mohawk from the Indian pups. I am a mover and a shaker! I have energy galore - my foster mom says I am spring loaded! I like to make sure you haven't forgotten about me. I love to run, play, chew, wrestle, eat and nap. Then - REPEAT!! I am just a ball of energy but once I get good and worn out with all my adventures I do like a good cuddle. Life is too short to watch from the sidelines so if you're looking for someone to be on the go with - I'm your guy! I am currently working on crate training, house breaking and some basic commands. I am still pretty young and I am learning about good manners. Please understand that while I am doing well on potty and crate training, I'm still a baby and will have accidents and may whine some as I adjust to my new schedule and family. ADOPTION FEE: $400 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 10/26/2025 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME - If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $400 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Miami Valley Pit Crew's Adoption Policy

We require an application submitted through our website to begin the process. After the application is reviewed and vet checks complete, if approved, a phone interview by our adoption coordinator will determine best fit and answer any questions! A non-refundable $100 hold fee is required to secure your chosen dog and is applied to the full adoption fee (ranges from $200-$400) at the time of the home visit. If the home visit goes well, the adoption is completed at that time and our MVP is your new best friend! 1) We do not adopt to individuals under 25 2) We will check your landlord if you rent for breed and weight restrictions 3) A fence is required for most of our dogs, but exceptions for leash walking may be considered for some. We do NOT approve the use of electric fences for our dogs. 4) Please ensure you have read all of the dog's specific requirements before applying. We may suggest a better fit for your family dynamics, as we know these dogs better than anyone and want the dog AND our amazing families to succeed.
