Mogwai's Story

Meet Mogwai! He is a parvo survivor born on July 3, 2024, he is a male medium mixed breed pup. He comes from a litter of 7 and is one of only 5 survivors. He is all puppy - curious, playful and affectionate. He's eager to learn and smart. Mogwai can be shy and sensitive. He's described as 100% sweetheart! He's crate trained and mostly potty trained in his foster home (as with all puppies, will take time to learn the ropes in his forever home). Mogwai is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We will give preference to a home with fully fenced yard and would prefer a home with children over age 5. Mogwai can be timid around men, mobility devices and a chaotic environment. He thrives on calm and structured with clear expectations.

Mikey's Chance Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
