Moe Howard's Story

Meet Moe Howard – a pocket-sized (6 pounds), 1 year old, Chi mix looking for the perfect family!

At about one year old, this little guy has not had an easy beginning, but he is doing well and making steady progress with his foster family. However, it has taken patience, time, and most of all - love.

Moe genuinely loves other dogs and gets so excited to meet them, but because he’s so small his foster mom is extra careful. Playtime is best with dogs his own size or super-gentle bigger friends who know how fragile he is. Moe's foster thinks
Moe would be his best self with another playful confident dog in the family

He’s still learning that the world isn’t so scary: new people (especially men) trigger his classic “stranger danger,” and when he gets frightened he turns into a tiny rocket—trying to sprout wings and launch himself out of arms, grocery buggies, or crates in a desperate bid for safety. Again, with patience and love, he’s already making beautiful progress.

Currently, Moe is recovering from surgery (in February) to fix his tiny luxating patella. He is almost entirely healed! So now, he can run, jump, and play without pain for the rest of his life. In the meantime, he’s discovering that loving arms and cozy laps are the safest, happiest places to be.

If you have a calm, patient home, maybe with a small dog buddy and you’re ready to give this tiny escape artist the forever security he deserves, Moe Howard is waiting to stop flying away and ready to start flying straight into your heart every single day.

You can check out more cute photos of me here:
https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCgMrd

An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms

Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.

Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org

Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
