Moe's Story

Moe came to Frosted Faces Foundation through our Safety Net Program during an incredibly difficult time for his family. When his dad broke his ankle, lost his job, and found himself living in his truck, he did everything he could to keep Moe safe. Loving him deeply, Moe's dad asked for temporary help while he entered rehab and worked to get back on his feet.

When his dad was later transferred to a long-term facility and reunification was no longer possible, he made the heartbreaking decision to surrender Moe permanently and to trust us to find him a family who would love him just as much.

Moe is three years old and full of life. His dad described him as "my boy, my friend, and my protector," and it's easy to see why. Moe is loyal, smart, and endlessly affectionate. He's the kind of dog who wants to be by your side-soaking up love and giving it right back. He loves fetch, enjoys hiking, adores cuddling, and he's fully housetrained.

Moe is a true people-dog who thrives on attention and affection. He knows his name and responds well, and he's learned sit, shake, and sometimes heel. He's also fantastic at catching treats and toys tossed in the air! Moe enjoys playtime both outdoors and indoors and benefits from long daily walks. He's a strong guy on leash and would do well with continued training. After playtime, he's happiest curling up for pets and scratches.

Moe does well in the car, relaxes calmly when left home alone, and settles quietly in his bed. At night, he loves hopping into bed for some goodnight cuddles. Moe can get excited and may jump when greeting new people, but he's always gentle and kind. During fetch, he may pause before dropping the ball, but he's never shown any growling or aggression.

Moe is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling to spend time in a loving home environment while he waits for his forever family. Might that be you?

To meet Moe, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
