Mocho's Story

This sweet, charming boy has quite the story to tell! Mocho was found as a stray living with a huge, cantaloupe-sized mass on one side of his body, and a smaller golf-ball-sized mass on the other. It's hard to imagine how he carried on with such a burden for so long, but thankfully he found his way to us and was then rushed to the vet and had both masses removed. The best news? They were both benign lipomas, and their removal has left him feeling lighter...literally and figuratively! When he first arrived Mocho weighed 32 pounds, now he's down to a healthy 27 pounds, full of energy and excited for this next chapter of life!

Mocho is about 8 years old and has shown nothing but resilience and sweetness throughout all his treatments. His journey hasn't dimmed his spirit, and in fact it seems to have made him even more loving and appreciative of every kind touch and gentle word. He's a true cuddle enthusiast who loves lounging in cozy spots, soaking up attention, and curling up next to anyone willing to give him love.

Mocho also enjoys daily walks, playful moments, and a little adventure. He gets along great with other dogs and adores people. Quick to trust and eager to please, he'll happily work for a treat, learn new tricks, or simply be by your side, offering companionship and endless affection.

Mocho is looking for a home that will let him enjoy the simple joys: cozy cuddles, gentle play, and the reassurance that he's safe, loved, and finally where he belongs. He's a sweet, gentle soul with so much love to give all he needs now is someone to call his very own. Could that someone be you?? Please inquire today!
