Mochi may be new to us here at Broome County Humane Society, but her story began long before she arrived at BCHS. She was recently transferred from our friends at Broome County Dog Shelter (Front St.), where she spent about 250 days waiting and hoping someone would finally notice her. We're hopeful that her next chapter will be the one she's been dreaming of - a loving home to finally call her own. When you adopt a pet from The Humane Society, your adoption fee covers a number of vaccinations, plus spay/neuter costs. Here are the fees and what you get for them: Every Adoption of a Dog Includes: Rabies Vaccination (if age appropriate) Distemper (Includes Parvo/Adenovirus/Parainfluenza Vaccination) Bordetella Vaccination Deworming Flea Preventative Spay or Neuter (if age appropriate) Free Veterinary Visit at Participating Vet’s Offices Microchip Fees as follows: Spayed/Neutered Dogs: $230 Dogs (over 6 years of age): $150 25% off for Veterans and Military Senior Adopters, adopting dogs over 6 years old: 1/2 Off above *Puppy and Un-altered dog adopters receive $35 once the dog is altered.
