No more visible ribs or hip bones and she is coming out of her shell more each day! <br/><br/>Since being trapped one month ago, Mocha has been in foster care and learning how to be a house dog. Our vet guesses her to be a 7-8 month old Great Dane. <br/><br/>For health reasons, we have made the decision to hold off on spaying Mocha until she is 12 months old. We will also consider Gastropexy, a procedure that prevents bloat, to be done at the same time.<br/><br/>Mocha will receive her second round of puppy vaccines soon and will then be ready for ‘foster to adopt’. The family must be local to Metro East IL and willing to travel to our vet for surgery. Once she is spayed, we will proceed with adoption. <br/><br/>Mocha is a super sweet but very shy and skittish girl! She is more trusting of women and seems to fear men. She LOVES dogs and will do best in a home with another furry friend. She is doing great with house training but still has an occasional accident. Secure fenced yard is a MUST! <br/><br/>Mocha’s adoption fee is $400.
