Mocha

This is 💕Mocha! She is almost 2 years old and such a sweet gi! She was adopted last year and her family immediately fell in love with her! <br/><br/>Over the last several months, Mocha has started showing some food aggression. Her adopter says If she is fed around other dogs, she sometimes tries to assert dominance and will snap at dogs. She has never actually bitten a dog, but she will show her teeth and snap towards them only when food is involved. If she is fed separately from other dogs she is completely fine. <br/><br/>A couple of months ago, Mocha tried to bite their baby because of food. For the safety of the baby, they have decided to rehome her. She would be best in a home without young children and new adopter would need to be cautious with feeding her with other dogs. <br/><br/>Mocha is loving, playful, energetic, and very smart. She was born on February 26th, 2024. She is fully up to date on all vaccines and is potty trained. She is not crate trained, but she is used to spending long days alone at home. She graduated from Pet-smart’s Beginner Training course in May 2025. She knows commands such as sit, lay down, come, roll over, touch, chin, and stay. She is friendly with other dogs and cats (other than the food aggression). <br/><br/>Mocha is a wonderful dog and will make a great addition to someone’s family.
