Moana (Mo) 's Story

Just like her namesake, Moana’s journey didn’t begin on calm seas—it started in a place of uncertainty. This tiny explorer was found trapped in a large thorny bush, scared and alone, with no one coming to claim her. The shelter was overwhelming for such a shy little soul, but everything changed when Herding Haven welcomed her into foster care… and that’s when Moana’s story truly began.
Like the Moana we all admire, this little pup has a brave heart and an adventurous spirit. With patience, love, and a safe place to land, she has blossomed into a playful, fun-loving, and joyful companion. What was once a timid, unsure puppy is now a curious girl ready to explore the world by your side. Moana loves other dogs and feels most confident when there is another dog around. So a home with at least one other young, friendly dog would be pawsome for her.
At just 6 months old and nearly full grown, Moana is perfectly petite at around 20 pounds—short in stature but absolutely overflowing with personality. She’s the kind of dog who proves that the biggest hearts often come in the smallest packages. Moana is:Crate trained, House-broken, Spayed and Up to date on vaccinations.
She’s still discovering her confidence, so she’ll thrive with a patient adopter who will continue to guide her as she grows. In return, she’ll give you endless love, playful energy, and a loyal companionship that feels like your very own adventure story. Moana may be small… but her heart is as big as the ocean. 🌊
Could your home be the island she’s been searching for?
