Miya came to us with her brother, Jaxon, in heartbreaking condition. She was so skinny that every bone in her little body could be counted. It was clear they hadn't known the love and care every dog deserves.<br/>When Miya first arrived, she was shy and unsure of the world around her. But even then, you could see the sweetness in her eyes. With time, and kindness here at the shelter, Miya slowly began to blossom.<br/>Now she's a completely different girl. The once quiet pup has found her voice, and her little talks often break the silence around the shelter. Miya is a loving, affectionate sweetheart who just wants someone to share her love with.<br/>She's come so far from the fragile girl who first walked through our doors.<br/>She has a fun personality and will need a home that will allow her to get her energy out. She is very active but walks great on leash. She loves the water and loves being in play groups with lots of energy.
