Mitzy is a very sweet 4-6 year old Morkie mix who is looking for a family to help her forget her past. She was used as a breeder dog until the breeder decided they no longer wanted her. She deserves an understanding home that will make her feel safe and loved…something she may have been missing in her former life. She gets along with other dogs so would do great in a home with furry siblings. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm negative . Paws 4 the Cause's Adoption Policy
Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
