MITZI's Story

MITZI
12 years old 6 pounds Tiny chihuahua mix with enormous opinions and zero concept of personal space
Mitzi may only weigh six pounds, but she carries herself with the confidence of a dog ten times her size. She has fully decided she is important, and honestly... shes right.

This hilarious little girl is affectionate, clingy in the best way, and firmly believes her proper place is directly attached to her person at all times. She crates well, but if given the option, she would much rather sleep draped across your shoulder like the worlds tiniest emotional support scarf.

When Mitzi gets excited to see you, she flashes the funniest full-tooth grin imaginable, and its nearly impossible not to laugh. She does well with other dogs as long as they understand that human attention should still primarily belong to her. Shes less interested in dog games and much more interested in supervising your every move.

Mitzi is housebroken in her foster home and happily follows her people from room to room, making sure she never misses a single moment of your day.

Because of her tiny size, older respectful kids are best. Small children or busy households where people may not notice a six-pound dog underfoot would not be a good fit. Tiny dog math is very real.

Mitzi is funny, devoted, confident, and absolutely full of personality. Shes looking for someone who appreciates a tiny shadow with big feelings and an even bigger sense of self.
