Misty Dawn

Meet Misty Dawn! Found as a stray wandering through the sugar cane country of Acadiana, Louisiana, this petite 2-year-old girl now has a name as beautiful as she is-Misty Dawn. And those eyes! They are so mesmerizing, we swear they could shine right through the thick, misty fog of the Louisiana bayou.

Although her breed is a mystery to us, she appears to have a little bit of Weimaraner in her, which may explain those gorgeous eyes, along with a little bit of Italian Greyhound to help keep her size petite. Whatever her mix may be, Misty Dawn is undeniably adorable and completely one of a kind.

Misty Dawn has only recently made her way into rescue, so we're still getting to know everything that makes this little girl special. What we already know is that she is incredibly sweet, loves her pets, and seems genuinely grateful for every bit of affection that comes her way. Over the next few days, as she settles in and realizes she's safe, we'll get to watch more of her personality begin to shine through. But one thing is certain-this little Acadiana girl is ready to leave her days of wandering behind and start her next chapter.

Misty Dawn is up-to-date on her vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, heartworm negative, and ready to find the forever family who will make sure she never has to wander again.

From a stray in the sugar cane fields to a beautiful new beginning...the mist is clearing, and a brand-new dawn is waiting for Misty Dawn

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to complete an application and read all of our FAQs:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily.
