Hi, my name is Misty Blue and I am a spitfire, but in a good way. First, I am beautiful, but that can’t be all you love about me. <br/><br/>I came into the rescue very pregnant and gave birth within 36 hours of arriving. I was a very protective, good momma, and learned to trust my foster mom slowly. Once my puppies were weaned and adopted, we set out to make me the best version of myself. <br/><br/>I am an athlete through and through and would excel at agility, hiking with a backpack and anything and everything that involves a job. I can jump several feet into the air, climb most things and I balance like a champ.<br/><br/>I am stubborn, and bonding and trust are very, very important to me. I need daily interaction, exercise and mental stimulation to be happy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sprinkler and will play in it, biting at the water for as long as you will let me. <br/><br/>I spent two weeks at a board and train, where I began learning how to play appropriately with other dogs and meet some new people. I am good with people, and am good in public, so training can continue anywhere! <br/><br/>An experienced owner is a must, as I am smarter than most dogs (and people) and need a firm but fun family. I chase all small creatures and will need a good fence to securely run my energy out. If you are looking for a workout buddy, someone to go on adventures with, then lay on the couch to watch a movie when all the excitement is done for the day, I may be your girl. <br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: $175 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained).<br/><br/>ADOPTER: Breed/Working dog experience a must<br/>BIRTHDAY: 1/25/2020<br/>FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment)<br/>DOG FRIENDLY: Dog tolerant in public, learning to have fun and play<br/>DOGS IN HOME: Male only, can go solo<br/>CATS: No<br/>KIDS: Yes, over 10<br/><br/>A $100 hold fee is required for approved applications and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $175 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me!<br/><br/>***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. <br/><br/>DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response.<br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit.
