Hi, I’m Misty! 🌫️🐾<br/><br/>I’m six years old and a gentle, happy girl who’s just starting a brand-new chapter with Arctic Rescue. Life hasn’t always been easy for me, but you’d never guess it from how much I love attention! My foster mom says I’m incredibly sweet and always ready to share a smile. I even do a little happy dance when I get pets or treats. I’d do best with a confident owner who can lead me and help me know what’s expected as I can sometimes be a little sassy. I like to play, sometimes I get a little growly in a goofy way when I’m excited, and I even chase my tail for fun. I like to pretend I am the boss and pretend I don’t want to go in the crate, but I actually don’t mind it at all. I would do best with older children as I get a little excited. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready to leave her past behind and blossom into her best self, I just might be your girl. I can’t wait to see what adventures await me next! Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter.” This is because Northern breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend researching the breed before pursuing adoption if you do not have prior experience.

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy

HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
