Mistletoes's Story

Meet Mistletoes — a resilient sweetheart with a whole lot of love (and zoomies!) to give

When Mistletoes first arrived at the shelter, she had clearly been through a lot. Severely underweight, missing patches of fur, and covered in fleas, this precious girl was in rough shape — but her spirit never broke. From day one, she greeted staff with affection, her tail wagging at every new friend she met.

Today, Mistletoes has blossomed into a fun-loving, energetic gal with a true zest for life. She lives for playtime and loves zoomin’ around the yard, soaking up every bit of joy she can. She’s super affectionate and never turns down a chance to lean in for love.

Mistletoes is working on her leash manners, and with her enthusiasm (and love of treats), she’s making steady progress. She appears to be potty trained and is a very vocal girl — she’ll happily let you know when she’s ready for her potty break or wants attention.

She’s microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed — fully ready for her next chapter. While she hasn’t met many dog friends yet, she’s adjusting beautifully to shelter life and shows us every day just how much love she has to give.

Mistletoes has the sweetest disposition, a big personality, and a heart full of hope. She’s waiting patiently for someone to see not where she’s been, but the wonderful companion she’s becoming.
