Mistletoes's Story
When Mistletoes first arrived at the shelter, she had clearly been through a lot. Severely underweight, missing patches of fur, and covered in fleas, this precious girl was in rough shape but her heart never wavered. From the very beginning, she greeted staff with affection, her tail wagging at every new friend she met.
Mistletoes is a gentle soul with a laid-back personality. She enjoys leisurely walks, tasty treats, and the simple joy of being near people. She appears to be potty trained, politely approaching the door when she needs a break, and she has wonderful leash manners that make her a pleasure to walk.
This resilient pup has started heartworm treatment and is on the road to recovery. She’s microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and will soon be spayed, ready to begin her new chapter in a loving home. While she hasn’t yet met other dog friends here at the shelter, she’s adjusting beautifully to her new environment and shows us every day how much love she has to give.
Mistletoes has the sweetest disposition and a heart full of hope. She’s waiting patiently for someone to see her not for where she’s been, but for the wonderful companion she’s becoming. Could that someone be you?
