Mister's Story
FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.

Mister is an adorable boy who is ready for his forever home. He is an active pup who will thrive with a family that will include him in their adventures. Mister would be a terrific hiking, running and camping buddy. He is ready to go when you are! Mister can be vocal and will bark when he hears unfamiliar noises. Apartment life is not for him.

Mister can be easily intimidated by other dogs. He would be happy being the only dog in the family but he has done well living with other calm, submissive dogs in the past. Mister has a strong prey drive, therefore, he will need a feline free home. He is learning how to play in his foster home and sometimes can be mouthy when he gets excited. Interested adopters should be willing to work with him on this habit and potentially enroll him in training classes. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of small children we are asking for a home without children under 12 years of age.

Mister is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. He receives regular grooming and he will need a family willing to have him groomed regularly. Mister is 3 years old and weighs 20 pounds.

Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog. For questions about this dog please call Elizabeth Woche, Senior and Special Needs Dog Coordinator, at 425-974-9479
