Mister

Hello, my name is Mr. President, but I generally go by Mister. Here is some information from my foster mom about me!<br/><br/>Daily Routine: Mister immediately goes outside to take care of business after sleeping in his crate all night, then breakfast and outside again. He is crated when I go to work all day. In the evening after dinner, he enjoys chewing on a Benebone or a stuffie toy. He is out of his crate when I am home, and goes on walks on the weekends, and sometimes during the week after work. <br/><br/>Personal goals: Mister pulls on the leash, but he is PERFECT in his crate when I am gone or at night. He was recently neutered so needs time for hormones to settle and hopefully marking will significantly diminish. He seems to know to go potty outside. <br/><br/>Favorite thing to do with my best friend: Mister gets along fine with the resident dog. He will sometimes bark at other dogs when out on a walk, but not always. He may be too busy sniffing. <br/><br/>Kind of family I want: Mister needs a home that will understand he is initially scared of strangers until he gets to know him. He was not exposed to other people or experiences, so he needs a little time to adjust. <br/><br/>Biggest fears: Mister is afraid of anything new until he’s had time to sniff and settle in. <br/><br/>Ideal weekend plans: Mister seems very comfortable to hang with his family. He enjoys toys and Benebones and also enjoys quietly sitting outside, or snoozing in the living room. <br/><br/>Mister needs a home with patience and realistic expectations for a dog that lived in an outdoor kennel most of his life and is now learning late in life to be a house pet and family member.
