This beautiful girl is Missy! Missy is a 3 year old female Bernese Mountain Dog who currenlty weighs close to 100 pounds. She came to us from an Ohio Puppy Mill where she was used for breeding puppies for the people to sell. Despite this horrible life, Missy is the sweetest dog! She just wants to love and be loved, but she is still learning how. Missy loves her people and will wag her tail when you enter the room. MISSY NEEDS A PLACE WHERE HER PEOPLE WILL BE HOME A LOT IN ORDER FOR HER TO FEEL COMFORTABLE. She is dog social, however, she doesn't really understand how to play with the other dogs yet. She just follows them around and is learning from them for now. She seems to be submissive around the foster's dogs. She is potty trained and crated trained. She chooses to spend time in her crate as she sees that as her safe space. Missy seems to be fine with cats. She should be good with older children, as long at they respect her space while she is acclimating. A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED FOR MISSY! This girls doesn't have a mean bone in her body! Let's find her the perfect home!! She is being fostered in the CNY area so a meet can be arranged for approved applicants. Missy's adoption fee is $400 which goes towards spaying at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associated with fostering.
