Missy

Missy was picked up as a stray, relinquished by her owner and adopted October, 2021 to a loving couple. We thought this would be her final and forever home, but her family contacted us and, through no fault of her own, are having to return Missy.<br/><br/>Missy is a beautiful, lively, small Catahoula mix. She is about 5 years old now and only 45 lbs. Missy is spayed and had a dental cleaning in 2021. She is kennel-trained and house broken.<br/><br/>When she is happy she makes a woo-woo sound and bounces through the yard like a lamb. Missy gets along with most dogs, better with male dogs. But with the right leadership she does fine with non-dominant females. Like all working dogs she can be snippy but responds well to redirection. Overall she is a happy, sassy, very affectionate little girl. She enjoys a job, like running around her yard and keeping the squirrels away. I would not put her in a house with cats as she has a prey drive.<br/><br/>She loves people so we believe the right family is out there for this girl.
