Meet Molly<br/><br/>Molly's story started in a heartbreaking way — she was tied to a tree by her previous owner, left behind and with no idea what was going to happen next.<br/><br/>Molly is located in the Sacramento area which is quite a bit outside our normal foster radius. But sometimes a dog comes along whose story pulls at your heart a little harder. We felt drawn to Molly and knew we couldn't turn away from her.<br/><br/>And we're so glad we didn't.<br/><br/>Today, Molly is a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who is friendly, loving, calm, and incredibly sweet. Despite the way her story began, she has so much love to give and hasn't let her past change the wonderful dog she is.<br/><br/>Molly is the kind of dog who meets you and immediately decides you're her new best friend. Her funniest habit? About two seconds after greeting you, she'll flop dramatically onto her back for belly rubs.She loves cuddling, being petted, and sitting on you whenever possible. Her favorite place to be scratched is, naturally, her belly.<br/><br/>She has a moderate energy level and loves a good mix of adventure and relaxation. Her favorite activities include walks, hikes, swimming, tug-of-war, playing with balls and toys, and hanging out with her people.<br/><br/>Molly is fully housebroken and is trusted to free-roam in the home while unsupervised. She would love a family who enjoys getting out for walks and adventures but also appreciates a good afternoon of relaxing together.<br/><br/>Molly would do best in a home without cats.<br/><br/>Molly's Perfect Day<br/><br/>Molly's perfect day starts with watching the sunrise from the patio, followed by breakfast. Then it's off for a long walk, followed by treats and plenty of playtime.<br/><br/>She'll follow you around while you clean the house, making sure you're doing everything correctly, while naturally expecting payment in the form of treats.<br/><br/>Then comes a car ride, a good nap, more food and treats, an evening walk, and finally the very best part of the day — snuggles.<br/><br/>Molly has already experienced what it's like to be left behind. Now we're determined to find her the family who will show her what it feels like to be chosen, cherished, and loved for good.<br/><br/>Sometimes rescue takes us outside our usual boundaries. Sometimes a dog comes along and makes you feel like you're exactly where you're supposed to be.<br/><br/>Molly was one of those dogs.<br/><br/>Now she just needs someone to make the rest of her story the best part.
