Miss Fancy

Miss Fancy is a Female Merle around 1.5-2years old (vet estimate). She is spayed, up to date on shots and deworming, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. She is great with other dogs and all people. She is very submissive and smiles. She is good in a crate and she is learning that she will get let out to go to the bathroom. She ended up at animal control due to a state animal cruelty case. She was left in a crate with another French Bulldog by her owner who then moved out of the house. Neighbors called the police because they heard barking and whining and started smelling something really bad. Police were able to get a warrant and make access into the home and found her in a crate with the other frenchie. The other dog had died and the crate was completely overflowing with poop and pee. The owner is being charged with 2 counts of state animal cruelty. She was underweight and her skin was burned from the urine. We have gotten her all fixed up and she is learning what it feels like to be loved and cared for. <br/>Her adoption fee is $800 to help cover the cost of medical and care. <br/><br/>Adoption Includes:<br/>All dogs go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines and dewormings, hearworm negative, 3months of heartworm prevention, 3months of flea/tick prevention, a copy of all vet paperwork to show everything we have done, and a goodie bag. The goodie bag includes things like food, treats, toys, chew bones, blanket, collar, leash, and other things to get you started. <br/><br/>Our Adoption Procedures:<br/>If interested in applying for adoption, you will complete a short adoption application form and send to us, once reviewed and approved we will set up a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting, if the meet and greet goes well, then we move forward to completing the adoption paperwork and you taking your new family member home.<br/><br/>Other Information:<br/>We will always take our dogs back. We want to ensure they are safe for life, so there is never a time that we won't gladly help them. We do allow out of state adoptions but the adopter must meet us and the dog in person, we do not send our dogs on transport or to new homes without meeting the adopter. We are working on our 501c3 non-profit status but this takes time. Unfortunately, due to this our adoption fees are higher than we would want but since we have to pay for vetting, care, and supplies out of our own pockets and cannot request donations/grants we must get enough from the adoption fees to cover the cost. Note: Some dogs do not require as much cost for us to care/vet but others do; any adoption fees paid for a dog helps not only cover the cost put into that dog but the cost for others that may require more medical assistance.
