MISS BLUE's Story

Meet Miss Blue!

Blue is a 1-year-old, 42 lb Aussie mix with so much love to give! She’s the kind of dog who wants to be by your side through it all. Whether you’re relaxing at home or exploring the outdoors, Blue wants to be part of your world. Blue is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and obedient.

She currently lives with a dog and two cats and does wonderfully with both, making her a fantastic addition to a multi-pet household. Blue is fully housebroken, has a strong recall, and is learning her basic commands with excitement! She truly enjoys learning and making her people proud. She loves toys, enrichment activities, being outdoors, especially hiking and exploring new places.

Blue is not crate trained yet, but she’s beginning that journey and will need some patience to continue working on that with her. As her foster mom works from home, she’s used to having someone home throughout the day. She would do best in a home where she won’t be left alone for long periods as she thrives on companionship and being included in daily life. Blue also loves kids! We recommend kids to be at least 8 years old.

More than anything, Blue is just looking for her person! Someone who will guide her, grow with her, and love her as much as she’ll love them. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and devoted companion and you are very active and like to go on adventures, Blue might just be your perfect match. 🩵

More about Blue & her needs! It is highly preferred that Blue is adopted by someone experienced with her breed mixes. Blue needs a lot of structured exercise & mental stimulation. She is a working, herding breed mix. Blue is also being worked with to overcome some separation anxiety & support will be given to her adopter to help her through this in adjusting to her new home. Apartment or Condo homes are not the best choice for Blue.

Blue's breed mix description is a guess according to her appearance. If you are interested in Blue, please email us at streethearts.animal.rescue@gmail.com. We offer a 2 week trial period with all our dogs to make sure they are a good fit in their new home. You must be at least age 25 yrs old to adopt for our rescue. Thank you for your interest in Blue & for viewing her posting!
