Mishka of Alpharetta, Ga's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization or individual. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him/her.Mishka loves snuggling and playing ball. He also enjoys frequent belly rubs, especially at bedtime. Mishka loves his back yard, especially chipmunk patrol. He rings door knob bells to go out and allows his feet to be wiped when he comes inside. He will play ball until you simply give up. Bedtime finds him in bed, on the floor, or in and out of his open door crate. He will happily run into his crate with the command 'kennel' and a treat thrown in. When feeding his bowl goes down with the 'wait' command. He will patiently wait for the 'OK'. Mishka knows lots of other commands. Sit, down, stay, wait, here, off (as in off the couch), shake and also 'out of the kitchen', one that gets used a lot cuz he loves ice. I'm probably forgetting some. He's a smart boy. Mishka is on a diet of Steve's Real Food Beef Recipe raw frozen food and has been his whole life.Due to an error on my part I was bitten on the hand. Mishka was on his hind legs enjoying a freshly baked pound cake left too close to the edge of the table. Although I knew better and should have just moved the cake, I instinctively pushed Mishka away and was bitten on the hand. I think he thought I was going to hit him- never!- and simply reacted. Again, entirely my fault. Mishka does guard toys (but not food) and other 'forbidden' objects that may have fallen on the floor. We use distraction with treats to retrieve those objects. For more information please contact Susan shwalding@bellsouth.netRehoming fee applies
