Mira's Story

Mira is a beautiful 6-year-old, approximately 80-pound girl who came to us from Lancaster just before giving birth to a litter of puppies. She’s done an amazing job raising her babies, and now that they’re ready to find families of their own, it’s finally Mama Mira’s turn!

Mira is a sweet, fairly low-key girl who loves being around her people. She’s excellent with kids and does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She isn't a big wrestler or romping playmate and is generally happy just peacefully sharing her space with her canine friends.

She’s also got some impressive house manners! Mira is crate trained, potty trained, and knows come, sit, and leave it. She’s smart, very food motivated, and eager to please.

Mira has been around cats without showing much interest when they pass by, but she has not lived loose with them, so we can't say for certain how she would do in a home with cats. She does well around pigs and horses.

There are a couple of important things her future family should know. Mira cannot live with or have access to small animals such as chickens, birds, rabbits, or guinea pigs. She will also dig and may try to get under a fence, so she should be supervised when outdoors and should not be left unattended in a fenced yard.

Overall, Mira is an absolutely wonderful dog: smart, affectionate, well-mannered, and ready to trade motherhood for the spoiled family-dog life.

Her puppies are getting their fresh starts. Now it’s Mira’s turn to find hers.

She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested.

Apply for adoption at www.phoenixanimalrescue.com
Adoption fee: $500

Phoenix Animal Rescue
Chester Springs, Pa
Kennel License #5152
