Miny's Story

Meet Miny aka Lucy in her foster home — a little puppy with a huge heart.

At just 14 weeks old, sweet Miny has already endured more than any puppy should ever have to experience. Despite the trauma she has been through, she has learned to trust humans again, and watching her come out of her shell has been absolutely beautiful.

Miny is now showing everyone what a wonderful puppy she truly is. She is playful, smart, affectionate, and eager to please. She is a quick learner and already knows so many commands at such a young age. She is completely potty trained, has had no accidents in the house, and is crate trained — this little girl is incredibly special!

And her personality? She is a total sweetheart.

Miny LOVES to cuddle and will happily snuggle up with her humans. She also loves playing with her toys and showing off her playful puppy side. She is wonderful with other dogs and people and is an incredibly friendly, loving girl. Loud noises can sometimes startle her, but she is learning that she is safe and that she can trust the people around her.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Miny. She has come so far in such a short time, and she deserves nothing less than a loving, patient forever family who will continue to show her just how wonderful life can be.

I know saying goodbye to her will be incredibly hard. I am going to miss this sweet girl more than I can say. But as heartbreaking as it will be, she deserves the very best life — a family of her own, a warm bed, endless cuddles, toys to play with, and humans who will love her for the rest of her life.

Miny is ready for her forever home.

Interested in adopting? Submit an adoption application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org!

We will review your application at our earliest convenience. If your application is selected, we will contact you for a phone interview. From there, wed schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home.

Questions about adoption?
