Minnie - Niobe's Story

Minnie is a sweetheart. She has gone camping with us in our RV and did great. The only thing we noticed is that she is bothered by little kids screaming; she will bark and pace. She also ran (on leash) towards a kid running by the RV. She has backed away from all kids under 7 or so. Not sure about her whole background, but I don't think she will be ok with anyone with little kids.

She will cuddle with you. She doesn't like her legs/feet touched, yet we are working on that.

She likes to play aggressively with other dogs. She had 2 other male dogs she was raised with, and they all played together. She will not fetch unless our other dog is out there with her playing.

She gets along with pretty much every dog. She did not have any problems with the cat she was around for a few days.

She has gone to the farmers market on the square and the Bark in the park Brewer game, with no barking at anyone. Walks through crowds on a leash with no problem as long as she knows where you are.

She will walk down the stairs to the deck and porch, but will not go down the stairs into our finished basement.

She does not like a kennel; she is afraid of them.

She likes to lie in the chair and sleep pretty much all day. :)

She is somewhat vocal; she does talk to us quite a few times during the day, and of course, we try to talk back to her :)

She is potty-trained.

She LOVES to be outside. She would need a fenced-in yard, because she likes to run.

**Dog breeds listed are best guesses from veterinary professionals, they are never a guarantee. www.brownpawsrescue.com.
