Minnie's Story

Do you need your own private admirer? Minnie will look at you like you are the best person in the world!

Minnie always loves to be with her person, enjoys short walks, car rides, and won't say no to a yummy treat! This cuddle bug is looking for a hospice home. She has a collection of small tumors that do not seem to bother her but are more serious than lipomas. She has seen a vet and palliative care appears to be the best option for her.

One of our volunteers took Minnie along to run some errands and she was such a great sport! They said She was happy to load up in the car (although needed a bit of a hand since her legs are so short) and immediately plopped down in the back, happily smiling and ready for wherever we were going. We hung out at Ramones for a bit, she enjoyed the pup cup and loved seeing all the people walking by. Minnie was content to hang out in the shade while I sipped my coffee. I don't think she's a big one for exercise, although she does have some fun and silly little mannerisms that I think will bring her human a lot of joy. It's easy to imagine her just loving life hanging out on someone's couch or in their garden - she loves soaking up the sun! She was fine left in the car while I ran into the market for groceries, but we kept the outing short because she was already tuckered out from the excitement. She fell asleep on the way home. Someone is going to adore this girl!

Minnie would do best as the only pet in the home. If your heart and home has a spot for her, please contact us by voicemail (707) 633-8842 or email redwoodpalsrescue@gmail.com.
