Minnie

Meet Minnie! 9 pounds of sweetness looking for her forever lap!

Sometimes the best things come in tiny packages. Minnie is a 6-year-old chihuahua mix, just 9 pounds of pure affection, and she's making the trip all the way from Houston, Texas to find her forever home with us.

When our rescue partner reached out about Minnie, they couldn't stop talking about how sweet she is. We didn't hesitate — we said yes. And now we can't wait to help her find the family she deserves.

The sweetest little detail: Minnie has the most adorable way of getting around with an occasional little bunny hop! When she moves, she does a gentle hop-hop with her back legs. It's the cutest thing you'll ever see. We wanted to make sure she was comfortable and healthy, so she's already been evaluated by a veterinarian. The diagnosis? A mild luxating patella (her kneecap slips a little) that causes her no pain at all. She's happy, active, and ready to bounce her way into your heart.

What Minnie is looking for:
- A cozy lap (she's an expert lap warmer)
- A patient, loving home that will give her time to adjust
- Someone who appreciates a happy, hop-happy companion
Minnie may be small, but she has a big heart. If you have room in your home (and your heart) for this precious girl, we'd love to hear from you.

Farfel's Rescue feels very strongly that every dog deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement/force-free training classes that are virtual or in-person. We therefore aren't willing to adopt Minnie out to a home that doesn't choose to offer her this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement / force-free virtual and in-person trainers in your area.

Minnie is up to date on her vetting/vaccinations to be in line with our commitment to only adopting out healthy dogs. She has also been spayed to support our hopes for zero future growth in the canine population.

Adoption applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and cuddly best friend. An app can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit.

**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Minnie, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder, Rescueme and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
