Hi, my name is Minka! I'm a calm, easygoing Australian Shepherd mix with a sweet and gentle personality. I've been living with a foster family gaining valuable experience in a home setting and working hard on skills that will make me the perfect companion in my forever home.<br/><br/>I'm practicing leash walking and good manners, and I'm picking things up quickly because I'm such a fast learner! Treats and affection are my favorite rewards. I'm already crate trained, house trained (I even use the doggy door on my own!), and know how to sit on command.<br/><br/>I love chew toys and I'm not picky...it's best if you provide one or two nice chews but if not, I will find a nice shoe to chew on... :-)<br/><br/>I enjoy playing with my doggy friend and going for walks, but I'm also perfectly content lounging around and relaxing by your side. I have a great balance of playfulness and calm.<br/><br/>My foster family has a couple of older kids that I loved spending time with and I've been to outings at the Library where all the little kids read stories to me and give me lots of hugs and kisses...that's awesome!<br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and well-mannered companion, please consider giving me a forever home.
