Like all puppies, she is still learning about the world and will require time, patience, and proper guidance to grow into a well-balanced adult dog.<br/><br/>While she is small now, Mini will grow into a medium to large breed dog, and this is a long-term commitment that requires preparation, consistency, and an understanding of her breed.<br/><br/>Mini is not yet ready to go home, as she still needs her second set of vaccines, but we are now accepting pre-adoption applications to find the right forever home.<br/><br/>Breed-Specific Notes<br/>Shepskies (Husky / Shepherd mixes) are:<br/>• Highly intelligent and driven<br/>• Very active with high exercise needs<br/>• Strong-willed and require experienced handling<br/>They are not suited for first-time dog owners.<br/>Mini is already showing a confident personality and will need an experienced owner who understands how to properly guide and manage a working-breed dog.<br/><br/>Ideal Home Requirements<br/>• Experience with Husky / Shepherd breeds is mandatory<br/>• Secure fenced yard required<br/>• Active home prepared for a high-energy dog<br/>• Committed adopter ready for long-term training and structure<br/>• All current pets must be:<br/>– Spayed/neutered<br/>– Up to date on yearly vaccines<br/>Applications will not be considered if resident pets are not altered or current on vaccines.<br/><br/>Medical & Placement Requirements<br/>• First two sets of vaccines included<br/>• Microchipped<br/>• Fecal exam completed<br/>• Spay/neuter required at our partner veterinarians when age-appropriate<br/>• Adopter must be able to bring Mini to partner vets in Miami, Davie, or Boca<br/><br/>Adoption Area<br/>Local adoption only — Miami, Broward, or Palm Beach County<br/>Adoption Fee<br/>$550 adoption fee + $100 spay deposit<br/><br/>Important Note<br/>If you do not have experience with this breed mix, your application will not be considered.
