Mini's Story

Say hello to Mini, a 2 year old, 10 pound Jack Russell! This little island girl is adjusting to her new Canadian life (she’s not a fan of snow so far), and she’s ready to find her forever family.

Mini is sweet, snuggly, and loyal once she feels safe. She can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly and loves nothing more than curling up with her person for cuddles. She’s good with both dogs and cats, and she absolutely adores meeting and playing with other dogs. She would do great with other pets or as the only pup in her home — she does adore having her human’s attention all to herself.

Mini has medium energy, enjoys her walks and is well-behaved on leash. She is not demanding- she is as happy napping beside you while you work, as she is going for walks.

She’s crate trained and comfortable being left alone during the day with her furry foster brother, and her potty training is coming along splendidly - accidents are very rare these days!

Mini feels most comfortable in a calm home — ideally without young children, though older, dog-savvy kids would be great. She’s a fast learner and is gaining confidence every day! It’s been wonderful to see her come out of her shell and learn to trust her humans!

An apartment will not be ideal for Mini, as she can be a little vocal when triggered by other noises.

Mini will be a devoted and affectionate companion who gives back every bit of love she receives.
