Mini's Story
Mini is currently in our Dog Rescue in Puerto Rico. Once we find her loving family, we will fly her to the airport closest to her Adopter. If you would like to give mini the happy ending that she deserves, please fill out our adoption application and we will reach out to chat.

https://www.theluvingpawsfoundation.org/adoption-application

Mini The Little Dog Who Refused to Give Up

Some dogs come into rescue needing a little help. Mini came to us needing a miracle.

At 7+ years old and only 11 pounds, this tiny girl arrived with a body that had been through more than any dog should ever experience. She was suffering from pyometra, severe malnutrition, dehydration, ear infections, dangerously high liver enzymes, and kidney failure. Her little body was tired, fragile, and fighting for every chance she could get.

Mini spent 14 days hospitalized under the incredible care of our veterinarian, Dr. Feliciano. Through careful treatment, dedication, and love, she was stabilized and able to have the life-saving surgery she needed before it was too late.

And Mini did what Mini does best... she fought.

Today, this little warrior is happy, active, and full of gratitude. She eats well, enjoys attention, and reminds everyone around her that a dogs past does not define their future.

Because Mini did not receive the veterinary care she needed earlier in life, her kidneys have been permanently affected. She will need a special renal diet, kidney-support medications, and regular veterinary monitoring for the rest of her life.

We know Minis perfect family may be harder to find. She needs someone with a big heart — someone who sees beyond medical needs and sees the sweet, loving soul underneath.

Mini doesnt need someone to save her anymore. She already saved herself.

Now she just needs someone to promise her that the rest of her life will be filled with comfort, kindness, and love.

Mini is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for the forever home she has waited so hard to find.
