Mimi's Story
Meet Mimi!

This sweet 2 year old girl was transferred to us from a shelter in WA. She was there with her sister Winnie and they were very scared and shut down. They came to the shelter after being rescued from a hoarding situation, so their lives so far have been tough. Mimi and Winnie spent some time in our rehab home and we got to know them for the wonderful and loving girls that they are. When they feel safe, their lovely personalities shine through.

Mimi starts her day with a nice long walk, typically 45 min-1 hour long. She loves it! Mimi is learning to eat solo but prefers to eat alongside her human or a fellow doggo. Mimi loves to sunbathe and loves to comfortably snooze while baking in the sunlight. She loves playtime too and a good squeaky toy is a fave. She likes to take the stuffing out of soft toys too :)

Mimi is affectionate, cautious, still a bit fearful, but so loving with people she trusts. She'll roll over for a belly rub, which she thinks is just the best. You just need to work a little bit to gain her trust.

Mimi is initially cautious but friendly with dogs, even larger dogs. She will do best with a dog friend in the home - this really helps with her confidence. She has not been around children and due to her timid nature we do not recommend her for a home with kids. Older kids over 12 are likely ok.

Mimi is fine being home alone and can be trusted in home without being crated. She is potty trained and does well in the car.

Mimi is scared of all men. Nothing personal but that is just how it is. A gentle guy can win her over but it will take time and patience.
This little cutie is eager for a belly rub and cuddles. She has an absolute heart of gold and is incredibly brave

Mimi is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
